Description
In this lesson students will learn the definitions of artifact, and archaeologist as well as the definitions of absolute and relative dating. They will also go on a virtual archaeological dig to discover artifacts and practice using absolute and relative dating. They will also practice reading graphs, making observations and predictions.
The video is about 8 minutes long, but students will need to pause it multiple times to fill out their charts based on the information in the video. Estimated time for the whole activity is 30 min for the average student.
