25 April/Spring themed Critical Thinking activities for use as warm up activities
I created these Sunshine Stretch activities for use in my self-contained gifted classroom. They are designed to be quick morning work for students to complete as they get settled in for the day. I have my students record their answers in a spiral notebook, but have also had students keep a week’s worth of responses on notebook paper to be turned in at the end of the week.
This resource contains 25 Sunshine Stretches, all with an April/Spring theme. Each week, students work through the following topics:
- Mystery Word
- Alternate Uses
- Categories
- Spring by Twos (unscrambling)
- Fun Fact – writing prompt based on a wacky holiday
