How do I use them?
Each day is a NEW celebration! Each slide has a few facts about the day and a question prompt for students to answer! Use these during:
- Morning Meeting
- Daily Opener
- Morning Journal Prompt
- Partner Shares
Encourage students to practice reading, listening, speaking, and writing skills!
After reading about the celebration for the day, students can share their answers to the prompt with a partner, the whole class, or as a writing prompt. Better yet, combine a few of these together - have students discuss first and then take it to writing. This is a perfect way to help English Language Learners develop their speaking/listening/writing skills! Check out the images and preview to see a sample of the question prompts.
