It is created for students with apraxia of speech, speech sound disorders (SSD), and/or phonological processes. There are great resources in this set (including a link to the explanation of 20 different strategies) and lots of ideas for use of these cards. This kit is 46pages and has pictures & suggestions for vowels, sound cues (36) consonant-vowel (CV-60 pics) and consonant-vowel-consonant-vowel (CVCV-81 pics with built in pacing dots.) The Semantic Symbols (45 words & 20 symbols) are a valuable addition to this set. Every effort has been made to keep the vocabulary simple for the little ones. It is a natural flow to progress from CV to CVCV. The pictures have been thoughtfully chosen based on age level and functional use. The J, TH, ZH are not included in this kit.
