Apple Mummy Activity

Students will work in pairs to hypothesize ways to preserve a piece of an apple (based on how ancient Egyptians would do it) and then attempt to actually mummify a piece of an apple over a four week period. Each week they will complete a "journal entry" in their packet and examine the progress of the preservation. Also includes concluding questions for students to answer at the end of the four weeks.
