Apex Learning Music Appreciation Semester 1 Supplementary Packet

Quiz-by-quiz study packet to accompany the ApexVS.com Apex Learning Music Appreciation Sem 1 Course, as open-notes or supplementary materials.

I found that my students were struggling going back and forth between the readings and the quizzes / tests, so I created a packet that condenses information that students can use as open notes or study materials as they navigate each quiz and test. It is in my own words, although definitions include all major information students need to be successful as they navigate the course.

With nearly 200 students all working at their own pace, there was a need for me to be able to help students and explain concepts to multiple students at once. When distance learning started, this packet was a lifesaver for trying to help students.

This helped supplement each reading, eliminated a lot of cheating I saw going on, helped students focus on the main terms and artists, and increased the amount of work students were completing.

The final exam for this course is a paper final exam with short answers and essay questions, so I also added the final exam guide to the end of this. I have students find all of their answers using this packet, which eliminated plagiarism in my course.
