What educators are saying

This was a great activity for my third graders. We used this for a culminating activity after learning about the different Native American tribes in North America.

Description

This is a simple, fast, low-prep project that not only looks great but reinforces research skills in manageable chunks. Texts or research material is not included. Students get to choose what they include: housing, trade, natural resources, clothing and more! The Native American Tribe tissue box project can be done in class or at home. Tissue boxes can be either full or empty. If my students use full boxes, I save them as examples the following year while we use the tissues! Makes a great 3-D bulletin board. Rubric included.

We carry kid-friendly research texts on many California tribes and also the Pueblo tribe. These no-prep articles align perfectly with the Tissue Box Project. Go to www.teacherspayteachers/Store/Thank-A-Teacher.com and follow us to hear about exciting new products.
