Included in this resource:

40 antonym/opposite word picture cards (for a total of 20 matches) and recording sheets.

Directions:
-Print, laminate, and cut out opposite word cards.

-Students will match the words on the hedgehogs to the words on the hearts to match two antonym/opposite words!

-A recording sheet is provided for students to write down the antonym/opposite words they match and read. Print double-sided to save paper or laminate & provide students a dry-erase marker.

*Time-Saver Hack*: Don’t have enough time to laminate? Slip the recording sheet into a communicator or a plastic sheet protector! Voilà!

For centers:
-Use in a pocket chart, Word Work for Daily 5, or February/Valentine's Day themed sensory bin.
