Interactive Musical Lesson Plan: Yes / No Song
This "SpeechTunes" song is a complete lesson plan. In this lesson plan students will learn to answer Yes and No questions appropriately.
Best used in large group environments for targeting expressive and receptive language, speaking and listening, language concepts (answering Yes or No questions), functional communication, and verbal and non-verbal communication and expression. The song provides multiple opportunities for students to respond to questions and demonstrate skills targeted. Simply point to or cue your students to answer when the song presents a question or an opportunity to respond. The child can respond with a verbal yes or no; or if non-verbal, the child can respond with thumbs up or down.
Designed for targeting IEP goals for Autism / Special Ed grades PK – 3rd; and for Gen Ed. Common Core (CCSS) PK - 1st grade
