Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery has been one of my favorites as a young girl and has remained so to this current day.

This literature unit is intended to encourage your readers to look into the life of the characters in this book as well as to take a deeper look into the historical time period, poetry mentioned, and the beautiful setting, Prince Edward Island. A book is a wonderful way to get a child of any age more interested in specific topics.

It was created for upper elementary aged children through 9th grade. It can easily be used in at home or in the classroom.
