What educators are saying

This is a great resource. My students did not do the "wax museum" part, but used it to make posters for animal research projects. Lots of great templates that kept kids engaged and excited. Thanks!
The worksheets are great. Just print and go. The students enjoyed researching their animal and it was easy for them to use the worksheets to write what they found.

Animal Specific Option: You have the option to let yours students choose their animal or you can have them pick from the animals included in this pack and use the animal specific organizers. The reason I included animal specific organizer option is because that way you could have the informational resources available for those specific animals if you are completing this project in the classroom. This would also be helpful if your group of students would not have resources available at home to use.

Report vs Organizers: You have a few different options for the report and presentation of this project. You could have your students do the paragraph report. You could have your students do graphic organizers and put them into a book or hang them using ribbon or poster board. You could have your students do the report and then pick/choose a few organizers for students to do to hang around them as they are part of the wax museum.

Wax Museum Notes: My class set up our museum in the hallway. I encouraged students to dress up with homemade materials (not Party City), whether it was a head to toe costume or a mask/headpiece. Around the students I hung the animal crossing sign, button, and a few graphic organizers. If students made a poster or diorama, I displayed those on the wall or on a desk. When visitors came around they pressed the button for the students to share their report! Photos included in pack!
