What educators are saying

This was a simple graphic organizer for my firsties to fill in. Researching their animals and filling in the organizer was their favorite part of the day!
I loved using this resource with my students. They were engaged during the activity, and they were able to understand the content better.

Description

Are your first or second graders working on a research unit? These writing pages are perfect for ANY animal writing activity! Simply read aloud a selection of nonfiction texts to students, or use leveled informational books, research on pebblego, etc. for independent work. Students can then organize their facts by writing about the animal that is interesting to them.

It's a great way for them to show all the information they learn! There are four different layouts that are scaffolded and differentiated to fit students who are on different levels. To see the 4 different organizers, check out my preview.

⭐ Organizer Includes the Following Features ⭐

This is a great organizer I created for my 1st grade students to use when doing an animal research project. After organizing their information on the graphic organizer, they then got to write a nonfiction book.
