Animal Habitats { Promethean Board }

This is a PROMETHEAN BOARD flip chart for sorting Animals into their correct habitat.

This activity contains 9 categories:

-Desert

-Ocean

-Forest

-Arctic

-Freshwater

-Rainforest

-Farm

-Home

-African Grasslands

There are six images of different animals to be sorted for each habitat (and two habitats per page. So a total of 12 animals per page for sorting)

This activity is self correcting, the habitat boxes are containers and each image has been coded with the correct box it belongs to.

(if the image is correct it stays in the box… incorrect and it is bounced out!)

I have used this to introduce and wrap up a lesson, a cloze activity, assessment tool and an independent activity.
