- Make sure you have covered the following concepts/units in class before students begin their research: common & scientific name (binominal name); animal diets (carnivore, herbivore & omnivore); animal classification; size (length, height & weight); habitat, biomes & geographic range; lifespan and population; predation and enemies; and lastly, human conservation of wildlife.
