Angles Readers Theatre Scripts

These 2 short scripts (each is about one page long--two columns of text per page) on ANGLES involve students in reading and reviewing information about the main types of angles. The scripts incorporate humor and contemporary language and references.

The scripts have special appeal for students with their game show and competition themes. Both are written for solo speakers with many parts for ALL so that teachers can use it with a whole class. Reading and rehearsing the scripts reinforce mathematical information and increases recognition of angles while also increasing reading fluency and engaging students in a dramatic approach to learning facts.

Students enjoy creating and performing gestures and sound effects where indicated in the stage directions. And—because it is a script—they do not mind reading and re-reading the information.
