Measure & Draw Angles in the spirit of mathematical adventure.
You will give your class the mission of designing their own treasure map.
Your students will practice drawing and measuring angles by using a protractor.
Type of angles in this activity: acute angle, right angle, obtuse angle, reflex angle (optional).
This is how the adventure begins… You know where the pirate treasure is hidden. That's why you were chosen to be the captain of the pirate crew. You need to prepare a map that will lead you to the pirate treasure. You are not the only one who wants to find it, so the map must be in code. First, choose your Pirate Crew Name. Then you have to understand the cipher decoder, draw a treasure map, and write directions…
Your students will love this fun activity!
