Anger Self-Control Activities: Cones of Regulation

Social emotional, self regulation activities that are a great therapy tool for social skills and anger management groups to teach feelings, self-control, perspective taking, flexibility for perfectionistic thinking, and emotional regulation. Excellent resource for children with ADHD or Autism.

Resource bundle includes 3 different activities that may be used over several sessions:

-Activity 1: "What color is your ice cream cone?" Match the color ice cream cones with the emotions to understand emotional intensities and triggers.

-Activity 2: "How many ice cream scoops belong on your cone?" Match the amount of ice cream scoops needed with the problem to understand appropriate reactions.

-Activity 3: "Turn your ice cream scoop green." Match the problem scenarios with the green ice cream scoop coping skills to learn and practice emotional regulation.

-List of questions to help easily match colored cones.
