    Description

The Ancient and World History Map BUNDLE will help students familiarize themselves with geography, events and more over the course of the year. Students will create physical and thematic map features throughout the year. Students use maps provided. Finally, most maps included a reading passage and word bank.

What can I say; I love maps! I start every unit off with a map. It helps my students get to know the region they will be studying. And the reading and writing activity gets students to think deeper about the impact of geography.

    What you get!

    • Instructions
    • Map Activity with reference maps
    • Example Map for some maps - planning on adding more this year
    • Reading and Writing Activity with word bank - passages not included for all maps
    • PPT - Objective and maps to help guide students through the activity
    • Quiz printable and Google Forms
    • Upon purchase you will be given a link to add all parts of this activity to your Google Drive.

Maps are also a nice change of pace for classes. Students need practice reading maps and recognizing shapes. And yes, they still need practice creating visual representations of information with their hands.

Easy prep! Just familiarize yourself with each activity and you are good to go. Of course, if you have any questions, email me at middleschool@worldhistoryrawks.com
