1) Background information on the film and what is fact and fiction in the plot. This is for the teacher to look at before you start the film so you explain what is factual and what is fiction in this great movie.

2) A discussion guide for the Kirk Douglas/Stanley Kubrick classic "Spartacus". It includes very clear and focused discussion questions for each of the three parts of the film with directions on when to stop the movie and discuss.

3) A 12-question multiple choice quiz to be given after the film is over. Answers provided.
