Ancient Rome I Can Statements/Learning Targets

Based on Ohio's 7th grade social studies standards, scaffolded, student friendly I can statements were created. This document includes 32 student friendly I can statements as well as a list of Ohio Content Standards that are being addressed in part or in full by the I can statements. I can statements are broken up into 7 scaffolded sections.

Section 1 focuses on Geography
Section 2 focuses on Government
Section 3 focuses on Christanity and Rome
Section 4 focuses on the Fall of Rome
Section 5 focuses on the Rise of the Byzantine Empire
Section 6 focuses on the Schism of the Christian Church
Section 7 focuses on the Legacies and Achievements of Ancient Rome
