Graphic Organizer Uses:

✓Cause and Effect - May be utilized for the historical figure’s life choices or impacts.

✓Definitions –Throughout the research.

✓Compare and Contrast – Likenesses and Similarities of a category/categories compared with the student’s personality traits.

✓Brainstorming Web – Some students prefer the web to organize their information. This could also be used for a student to help choose which historical figure he/she would like to research.

✓Historical Figure Graphic Organizer – I usually use this graphic organizer. It has the same categories (shortened) of what is in the outline for students to enter the information.

✓Informative/Explanatory Graphic Organizer – This will help students organizer their ideas for each paragraph.

✓Informative/Explanatory Writing Outline – This will help students organizer their ideas for each paragraph.

✓Informative/Explanatory Classifying Graphic Organizer – This will help students organizer their ideas for each paragraph in more detail.
