Each presentation is aligned to history and ELA standards. By using historical artwork, statues, monuments, maps and graphic organizers in addition to animation, the goal is to make the presentations extremely engaging and memorable for all students.

Mini quizzes and discussion questions are built into each presentation to refocus student attention by making them think and engage with the lesson.

PowerPoint Show made with Microsoft 10

Features include: slide sorter, laser pointer, digital pen, high lighter, and presenter’s notes. This makes it possible to add or highlight notes directly onto the slides. It is possible to check out these features on the preview, by right clicking on the screen. A tool box will appear so that you can experiment with the various tools. As an added bonus, a Table of Contents with hyperlinks will aid with navigating the power point show over a multi-day presentation. *Your version of Microsoft will determine which of these features are available with the power point.

*Due to copyright piracy, all of Ms. Amy’s Lessons are not editable. This means that it is both difficult and time consuming to alter the presentations.
