Description

-PowerPoint (16 slides)
-Lesson Ideas
-Differentiated Comprehension Activity

In this product, you will find a differentiated comprehension activity and a PowerPoint to accompany the comprehension activity, along with some other lesson ideas you could incorporate into this resource.

The PowerPoint acts as a timeline to show students when and where pyramids have been built around the world. The PowerPoint also features a mini Activation of Prior Knowledge to start followed by photographs of pyramids in Egypt, Sudan, Mesopotamia, and South America. The download mentions a no-prep activity to accompany the PowerPoint.

This learning can also double as a STEM lesson! The comprehension activities outline how scientists think the Ancient Egyptians built pyramids. When your class has concluded their learning about the hows, your students become Pyramid Engineers! In groups, they can draw a pyramid, make a model, and finally build their own pyramid.
