How can you use each form in your classroom?
The class sign-out sheets can help you keep track of when your students are leaving the classroom, where they are going, and how much time they spend out of class. This data can be helpful in the case of emergencies or if your administration needs to investigate who was in the hallway at what time, but it can also be used to see if certain students are spending more time outside of your classroom than is ideal. You can use this form by taping it to your door or keeping it on a clipboard that is attached to the door or nearby the door. It is helpful to copy them back-to-back to save paper, and then once the sheet is filled up, you can file it or discard it if desired.
The hall pass templates can be laminated and used as a regular pass or attached to a lanyard. There is also a hall pass form that can be used if your school requires additional information when students leave class.
The homework passes can make a fun prize or reward for your students! Feel free to use one of the provided templates or customize the text in one of the editable forms to make it specific to your class. You could also use them as extra credit slips!
