Description

This is a Student Strategy Anchor Chart for dealing with Frustration in the classroom. Students can practice using coping skills when they are frustrated as reminders of steps that can be taken to help them get "back on track".

Many times in the classroom students don't know exactly what they're options are and this anchor chart reminds them:

1. Stop and Think
2. Take a deep breath.
3. Ask themselves..."is this is a big or small issue?"
4. Look & Watch: See what the rest of the students are doing.
5. Asking a neighor for assistance
6. Talking to the teacher.

Frustration levels come and go all day in school students and they don't always use skills to make them successful. This chart should be used as a guidance to assist them.

It is also important that teachers discuss each point with the class, possibily modeling examples with their students.

Also included is a page of desk size charts for students to each individually have.

Enjoy and I hope your students become successful.
