Description

Speech therapy students need to know the parts of their mouth and how they move to create speech. This digital interactive pdf is a great way to target articulation in the school, clinic, or through teletherapy.

I am so guilty of jumping right into articulation therapy without teaching the ARTICULATORS first. Unfortunately, it always leaves me spending more time going backwards until the student and I are on the same page.

So, I created this No Print. By the end of the Anatomy for Speech Production lesson, your speech students will know the names of the articulators (listed below) and their functions as related to speech.

Since I started using this no print with my own caseload, I have seen a great deal of progress with my articulation students. They can describe exactly what their articulators should be doing to create their target sound. No more blank stares...

The best part is this material can be used to introduce every sound (p, b, t, d, n, k, g, l, s, z, r, w, y, sh, j, ch) for every age!

Check out the preview above; because telling your students to "touch their tongue tip to their alveolar ridge" can actually mean something to them!

Articulators taught:

Tongue parts: tip, sides, back, blade, base, groove (New)

Jaw

Top Back Molars

Front teeth

Lips

Alveolar Ridge (Home, the spot, bumpy part, etc.)

Hard Palate

Soft Palate

Uvula (just for fun)

*Update* This product now contains a full Anatomy of the Mouth for speech Quiz! Check your student's knowledge before and after to see their growth!

The chef graphics in the preview are no longer on this project. This was a request from buyers. Now the product can easily be used for all age groups!

This articulation material is not themed to seasonal, so you can use all year!
