Description

This Common Core reading literature lesson asks students to analyze the impact of word choices on tone and meaning. In this lesson, students will identify word choices that affect tone and meaning, determine the tone suggested by the author, and then analyze the meaning of the text. In addition to the initial lesson, there are numerous pages of Independent Practice and Review with questions modeled after Common Core assessment items.
