GUIDED PRACTICE
Put the word portion of the puzzle in a pocket chart and give the students opportunities to match the signed portion in a whole or small group situation.
INDEPENDENT PRACTICE
Students use the puzzles independently to match the sign to the sight words.
FOR MORE STRUCTURED PRACTICE
Print out two copies of the puzzles. Cut up one copy and leave the others together on a page. Place Velcro on the page and on the cut up puzzle pieces and have student match identical pieces.
