Description

This PowerPoint and notes chart provides students with a wonderful introduction to important battles during the Revolutionary War. Each battle has one slide on the PowerPoint. The notes chart gives students a way to organize the notes about the battles in a chart that shows the battles in chronological order. The battles discussed include:

- Battle of Lexington & Concord
- Battle of Bunker Hill
- Battle of Trenton
- Battle of Saratoga
- Winter at Valley Forge
- Battle of Yorktown

This activity is aligned to the following state standard:

SS4H4 The student will explain the causes, events, and results of the American Revolution.

c. Describe the major events of the American Revolution and explain the factors leading to American victory and British defeat; include the Battles of Lexington and Concord, Saratoga, and Yorktown.
