American Presidents Partner Plays: 5 Scripts with Facts and Opinions Worksheets

These five presidential partner plays are intended to be used as fluency-building activities that 4th-5th students can do with a partner. The scripts focus on sharing interesting facts related to several American presidents. Kids love reading these engaging scripts. These plays require minimal teacher support, thereby allowing teachers to work with other small groups. For teachers who implement reading centers, these plays are perfect.

All five scripts focus on famous American presidents. This can be an engaging Presidents Day activity, but the scripts can certainly be read at any time of the school year.

It also includes a BONUS fact and opinion worksheet. After reading each script, students read 2-4 statements that accompany that particular script. They must determine whether each statement is a fact or an opinion.
