What educators are saying

One of my favorite things to use with my students - they responded really well to it and it aligned perfectly with my standards!
I loved using these activities as supplemental and enrichment. Students definitely referred these over the ones I made.

Description

My students love it when they finish a test or project early because they grab one of my historical word searches and are productive for the rest of the period. I love the word searches because students are interacting with meaningful and advanced vocabulary that we have focused on for the entire unit!

This set of 17 word searches is perfect for the entire school year even if you don't teach social studies! They can be used for students who finish early, students who want something fun to work on, or for a student who is struggling with connecting vocabulary words to the unit.

Each word search contains 400+ searchable letters and at least 30 vocabulary words that are key terms used in both elementary and middle school curriculum worldwide. This complete set includes the following topics:

- NATIVE AMERICANS

- AGE OF EXPLORATION

- ENGLISH SETTLEMENTS

- COLONIAL AMERICA

- ROAD TO REVOLUTION

- DECLARING INDEPENDENCE

- AMERICAN REVOLUTION

- CONSTITUTION

- BILL OF RIGHTS

- WESTWARD EXPANSION

- CAUSES OF CIVIL WAR

- AMERICAN CIVIL WAR

- GEOGRAPHY TERMS

- LANDFORM TERMS

- STATES OF AMERICA
