What educators are saying

This was a great emergent reader for my summer school kindergarten and 1st grade students. We used it on Flag Day.
My EL students loved reading this! It gave us opportunities for discussion and they asked many questions. My students are second graders, but my EL students were eager to read it and discuss the American flag! It helped them contribute to class conversations later as a whole group.
