Description

This is a spreadsheet bank of 300+ allusion-worthy lines, people, events, and other references in easy to manage tidbits of info. Sources are Biblical, Literature, including Shakespeare, Contemporary and commercial, and Historical, all cross referenced under CREATURES, LINES, FAMOUS MALES, FAMOUS FEMALES, and color coded for easy sort access.

Look at the first picture for the categorical layout and look at the 3rd picture (the one with the left column in pink - i.e. "famous females") to get a closer look at how the text is set up. MOST of the entries are in "teen friendly" terminology, but some use subject-specific terminology that cannot be rewritten, but that is okay because if you are studying Shakespeare, then you will need lines from that text to recognize!

Includes ideas on how to use these tidbits of info, including group activities and class games! Great resource when studying specific, interconnected topics like WWII.

Over 40 hours went into this compilation, with another 20 to clarify and maximize connections for students.

Excel file makes it easy to sort by any of the above or basic alphabetical sort. The file is NOT LOCKED so teachers may customize it, reducing its focus or adding to it. File is 20 pages, but printed back to back create a 10 pg handout for quick student access!

Works real well with the PPT file Allusions, Instructions, and Examples also available in my store. Together, they are an unbeatable combo! Enjoy!
