All Quiet on the Western Front novel study by Erich Maria Remarque contains 23 lessons for students to complete an opening bell ringer activity, chapter vocabulary and reading response questions for all 12 chapters of the novel (about 2 lessons per chapter) plus one post-reading day, movie-viewing guide and an optional Final Project.

This unit is designed so students can complete the novel independently, in pairs/groups, as a whole class read aloud and discussion or for Google Classroom or distance learning for a 24 - 32 day student-led or teacher-led novel unit for 30-75 minute blocks (depending on student ability and independent vs. whole class reading).
