All About Spiders Research Project Questions Halloween Science Centers Arachnids

You will download 30 spider facts task cards for your 4th grade, 5th grade, and special education science students to research and learn all about spiders. For your convenience, you will download both TPT digital EASEL and printable PDF resource formats.

In this project, your student will research and answer spider questions, such as:

• What is the largest spider in the world?
• How many species of spiders are there?
• How many body parts do arachnids have?
• In which continents do spiders live?
• How many sets of eyes do spiders have?
• How do spiders catch insects?
• What is the spiders web called?

These task cards work well to supplement your Halloween science or arachnid unit. The print and digital formats have the same questions. Vocabulary word bank cards are included for easy differentiation.

NOTE: Students will need to use classroom resources or conduct their own research to find the answers.

How can I use these task cards in my classroom?

You may use the printable task cards in your science centers or stations for fun practice and review games and activities, such as a scavenger hunt or SCOOT. They also work well for transition activities, as exit tickets, for morning work, and as quick formative assessments. Game ideas, a student response form and answer key are included.
