Description
This print-and-go back to school activity is perfect for getting to know your students while also making math connections in the art room! Best for upper elementary, middle school and high school grades (Grades 4-12).
HOW IT WORKS:
Students receive a handout of a hexagon tessellation piece. Inside all the shapes, they write their name and fill up the spaces with various drawings that illustrate them. Once all students have their tessellation pieces colored, they cut them out and assemble all the pieces together with tape.
A great bulletin board display for the beginning of the year!
