Aleph Bet/ Alef Beis Hebrew Clothespin Match Up/ Detective Theme

Whether you call it aleph bet, alef bet, or aleph beis - Sephardic and Ashkenazic students learn rapidly with this activity. It's engaging, effective, and fun!!

Use this activity as:

• a small group activity
• a whole class learning center activity
• a remediation activity
• an activity for early finishers of other work

This activity is already designed with built in levels for differentiating instruction. Use the first mat with the lower group and the next mats for more advanced groups. Use the blank mat to further individualized instruction by filling in specific letters for one student to master.

"Hebrew Alphabet Clothespin Match Up - Detective Theme" encourages:

• visual discrimination of Hebrew letters using visual skills
• fine motor skills
• the bodily-kinesthetic intelligence.

Students clip clothespins printed with Hebrew letters to a mat with the same letter. Just print the letters and glue on your own clothespins, or write block letters on your own clothespins with a permanent marker.

Bonus Feature:

One blank mat to customize and differentiate your instruction for anyone ahead of or behind the class level. The blank mats can also be used for vocabulary from your content area. In addition, the mats are designed so they can be printed twice and cut apart to create a Go Fish or Memory game.
