Description

These Alabama webquest informational reading research worksheets are a great way to introduce important information in about the state. Students use their facts about Alabama to create a mini book. They will learn about Alabama's natural resources, agriculture, industries, state symbols, and more in this webquest.

A scrambled answer sheet is provided to help students with special needs, or to speed up the research process. This worksheet gives them hints about answers that they may be looking for as they research through each section of the mini unit.

Some of the information they learn about Alabama in this mini unit include:

  • Alabama natural resources
  • Alabama agriculture
  • Alabama industry
  • Alabama state symbols
  • They also find two fun facts about Alabama.

A full answer key is included. We used black and white graphics so students can color the cover of their mini-book about Alabama.

This Alabama mini project is a great activity for fast finishers in your classroom. It's also a valuable enrichment lesson to enhance informational reading skills, or as part of your social studies curriculum.

Help your students to find facts on the web faster and more efficiently.
