What educators are saying

This came in handy for a weather lab we are currently working on. It worked well as an assignment to provide for my students when they had a sub.
Used with a small groups of 5th graders as their class works on their weather unit in science class. These students are having difficulty with comprehension and fluency. Very helpful.

Teaching air pressure and fronts is probably one of the trickiest concepts students have to know in the weather unit! This practice sheet allows students to get more familiar with these terms. Students will have to:

-identify air pressure (high & low pressure) and basic weather front symbols (cold, warm, and stationary front)
-match air pressure and weather front descriptions
-interpret a weather map with the primary focus on air pressure and weather fronts

This would make a great in class practice, homework assignment, or assessment.

This practice directly supports Virginia Science SOL 4.6.
