As a veteran Preschool and PreK teacher I have made sure the activities in this packet are developmentally appropriate and build or build-on the skills your child or students will need to create an excellent foundation for kindergarten and beyond!

Math activities and skills include: counting, numeral formation, numeral ID, subitizing, shapes, and more!

Here's what is included:

I suggest mixing math, and science activities each day. You can choose just one from each activity a day, or you can choose to do two “sessions” of all activities or choose to do math in the morning and science in the afternoon. Remember that young children need movement, variety, and lots of free play in their day. Most kids have a very limited attention span, so many short burst of ‘school work’ will be better for you and for them too!

Stay Healthy and keep learning!

Standards

to see state-specific standards (only available in the US).
Count forward beginning from a given number within the known sequence (instead of having to begin at 1).
Write numbers from 0 to 20. Represent a number of objects with a written numeral 0-20 (with 0 representing a count of no objects).
Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
Understand that the last number name said tells the number of objects counted. The number of objects is the same regardless of their arrangement or the order in which they were counted.
