African America Chef Research | Black History Month | FCS | Food
- PDF
Description
Celebrate Black History Month by having students write a newspaper story about an African American chef! After selecting a chef, students will research them to determine things such as their family life, education, and influence on cooking. They will even find a recipe from the chef or one similar to what they are known for making. Ready for a fun bonus? Students can make one of the chef’s dishes at school or choose to bring it in! This activity includes everything your students should be researching in a PRINTABLE worksheet. Also included are a rubric and sign-up sheet so no chef is researched twice!
