Description

The scripts in this pack were written for 3 - 5 students. Each script is an adaptation of one of Aesop's fables. Aesop's tales are a great way to teach students how to look for lessons or morals! There is a short writing piece afterwards which can be used for everyone after it has been performed or just for the students reading the script.

I use Reader's Theaters to help students improve their fluency. My students, especially the ones struggling to read, still require motivation to improve and that is where Reader's Theater comes in. You can buy 8 of these scripts in this pack for $10 or pay $2 a piece for them. Buying this pack will save you $6. The fables in this pack are: A Tale of Two Friends and a Bear, The Ant and the Grasshopper, The Foxes and the Stork, The Lion and the Mouse, The Milkmaid and Her Pail, The Miser, The Old Man and the Woodman, and The Wolf and the Dogs.

My 3rd grade group needed some extra help with vocabulary words which is why I do not list this below 4th grade. My name is Melanie Whitesides but my store name is Wonbyone and I hope that you will enjoy these small group scripts. As I have said before, small groups are better because students aren't waiting as long to do their part and they get more practice in. My ESL students find these scripts to be their favorite part of our independent lesson time. Please let me know what you think of this one. Most of my scripts are black and white to make it easier to photocopy and take less ink. Let me know how things go. Thank you.
