Aesop's Fables Readers' Theater for Big Kids Bundle

Thanks for purchasing my “Aesop’s Fables for Big Kids Readers' Theater Bundle!” Aesop was an ingenious storyteller, and students of all ages can enjoy (and learn) from his short stories. Included fables are: The Hare and the Tortoise, The Lion and the Mouse, and the Ant and the Grasshopper.

Readers’ Theater allows students to become involved in the story in a deeper level. My plays have generally 4-6 parts, allowing for small group participation.

Lesson included are in the format of Close Reading Lessons, which are aligned with Common Core’s teaching strategies. Instructions are included, as well as graphic organizers that accompany each read.

Some great uses for this play (and other ones in my store) … perfect for short weeks, days between units, sub plans, end of the school year, or can be sent home for summer reading practice.
