Delve deeper into advertising with this versatile, no-prep activity and project bundle. This bundle includes activities and projects that cover the history of advertising, careers in advertising & PR, print advertisement elements and principles, institutional and promotional advertising, the promotional mix, deceptive advertising, a press kit, and public relations crisis management.

This bundle includes a variety of activities/ projects to engage students. With the resources provided students will create a museum exhibit, conduct career research and a job search, research print ad components and evaluate print advertisements, create institutional and promotional advertisements, develop the promotional mix for a toy brand, create a digital or print poster, craft a press kit for a school activity, and examine a PR crisis and design an infographic or write an article on the topic.

Students will need Internet access to complete the activities/ projects. This bundle is not designed to stand alone as your only curriculum, however, additional direct instruction is optional. The activities/ projects include enough information that students can learn about the topic with merely the help of the Internet and class discussions. For example, you may wish to provide additional background knowledge or elaborate on key topics, but no textbook or note set is needed for students to complete the activities or projects.

This bundle contains a variety of file types. Please review the contents of each product prior to purchasing. Many of these products are in Google™ (ex. Google Slides™, Google Docs™, and Google Sheets™), making it easy to implement in a distance learning or 1-to-1 setting. The products in Google Slides™ provide the content requirements as the background image for the slide. Text boxes/ tables have been added for students to type information. Files in Google Docs™ and in Google Sheets™ are fully editable. This bundle also contains many PDFs.
