This curriculum can be taught as a year-long advanced art course or as guided assignments first semester of AP© Art. A timeline and syllabus for an advanced art course is included in the main folder with a timeline for adapting assignments to your AP© Art course as well.

In AP Art it is helpful to start the semester off with guided assignments. These guided assignments will train students to think in an inquiry and investigative way when considering their artwork. Through this pack, students get to choose from guided assignments to create inquiries, investigate, practice, experiment, revise, communicate, and reflect. Going through this process at the start of the year will prepare them for an in-depth sustained investigation through 15 works of art.
