Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) is a type of talk therapy that focuses on how your thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes affect your feelings and behaviors. The main idea is that by changing the way you think, you can change how you feel and behave. It's based on the principle that your thoughts, not external circumstances, cause your feelings and behaviors. As we know, we cannot treat just the overt features of stuttering, we must treat the hidden aspects also. That means our thoughts and feelings associated with stuttering too.
