Description

Through this handout or center activity students are adjective detectives! Their mission to find all of the adjectives in the poem "Do Spiders Stick to Their Own Webs?" (poem provided with a picture) and circle them. This can be done individually, cooperatively in groups or pairs, or displayed on a Promethean Board or projector and done as a class. This aligns with the Scott Foresman 2nd grade story, "Anansi Goes Fishing," but this activity can stand on its own to teach adjectives, even if your class is not reading this story. Cute activity - my kids loved it!
