Addition Fact Frenzy SMARTBoard Flash Card Activity

This fast-paced flash card game for the SMARTBoard will get your kids up and moving…and practicing their addition facts! Instead of competing against each other, (with the same few students always winning), such as with traditional flash card games like “Around the World”, with Fact Frenzy, the class works together to try to complete all the flash cards as quickly as possible.

This file includes 17 pages of interactive addition flash cards, each with 6 different facts, for a total of over 100 cards. Each flash card has an animated shape covering the answer. Once the included timer is started, students come to the SMARTBoard one at a time, choose a fact to read and answer, then check themselves by touching the shape, which will fly away to reveal the correct answer. The teacher keeps track of incorrect answers, which will each add 5 seconds onto the total time.

Play again and again, trying to improve your record. You can vary the length of the game and the order of the pages in the file by dragging the thumbnails up or down to rearrange them.

**Please note that this is a SMARTBoard file. You must have Smart Notebook or compatible software to open it. If you are unsure, download the preview file. It is a Smart Notebook file, although most of the pages are only screenshots of the actual pages. There is a test page, however, where you can see if the interactivity works.
