What educators are saying

I love how the notes and the work is very well organized along with the activities. Students learned well and followed along, ending the year on an absolute High note.
I used this for whole group work while I pulled a small group to review. Students were engaged. It's a great product!

Description

The t-chart strategy:

Often times students struggle with adding and subtracting integers because they get too caught up in the signs and the rules. It’s also difficult for students to think of which absolute value is larger they are often struggling to make the connection of why absolute value is even needed in an integer computation problem...Thus, the t-chart strategy was born!

In this bundle you will receive:

3 pages explaining the strategy

A poster in color and B&W

4 full page example pages

1 full page template

4 pages with the above examples and template in 1/2 page format

3 practice pages

3 potential answer pages for matching

3 answer pages

This strategy also works with adding and subtracting signed fractions & decimals!
