Description

Make math fact fluency fun with these easy prep 'Enchanted Talesville' Adventure Math Board Games. This fairy tale-themed pack focuses on Addition & Subtraction Facts within 100. With a bunch of games to choose from and play, your students will be math masters in no time. Ideal for Math Centers or Early Finisher activities.

There are seven different game boards to play. Each game board has three differentiated math sets so that you can adjust the level for your students based on their needs. Some games can be played solo, while others work best with 2 - 4 players.

Multiple Uses:

  • Math Centers
  • Early Finishers
  • Fun Practice and Review Sessions

Board Games & Math Skills Included:

Each game is a bit different, so I've included the 'How to Play' instructions on the same page as the game.

(I've outlined the skills for the three differentiated versions of each game available)

  • Piggy Rescue (Addition within 50, 75, and 100)
  • Escape Key Collection (Subtraction within 50, 75, and 100)
  • Giants & Beanstalks (Add/subtract within 50, 75, and 100)
  • Tale Token Treasure Grab (Adding within 50, 75, and 100)
  • Return Home Race (Subtracting within 50, 75, and 100)
  • Magicians vs Mermaids (add/subtract within 50), Witches vs Wolves (add/subtract within 75), Pirates vs Princesses (add/subtract within 100)
  • Mini Math Mystery - Who's Hiding the Glass Slipper? Who's Hiding Aladdin's Lamp? Who's Hiding the Enchanted Rose? (Add/subtract within 50, 75, and 100)

Color and Black/White Options
The color print options are ideal if you plan on laminating the games to be reused. However, if color ink is not an option, there are also black/white/greyscale pages for each game.

Digital Options
If you want to save paper, these games can be played digitally via Easel.

Extra Materials Required:

  • Dice
  • Counters (or something similar)
  • Pencils/crayons

Preparation

  • Print and play games.
  • Some of the games contain fun digital character moveable pieces on Easel.
  • Print the games or set them up digitally to assign to your students.
  • Optional: Laminate if you plan to reuse or make copies if using like a worksheet
  • Materials required: dice, counters, and player pieces (pencils/crayons if used like a worksheet). You will still need dice for the digital option (or use virtual dice online).

Suggestion: I recommend discussing and modeling how to play the games as a class before assigning.

Differentiation
There are three versions of each game. The math is differentiated in each set. For more details, see the ⭐Board Games & Math Skills Included⭐ section above.

Rank & Rewards System
This is an optional extra if you would like to increase the fun factor. Students achieve levels and special ‘image’ items as they win games. I've included two ways to use this system. It is also available digitally via Easel.
